While the first snow flakes were falling a couple of days ago, we thought it was time to decorate yet another office in the special G&D style.
Every year, one of our colleagues gets the honour of having their offices decorated. Unfortunately, the decorations consist of tacky Christmas lights, nutcrackers and other stuff no one would ever use to even decorate a dog house. And of course, the lucky recipient of our special decorations is completely oblivious to the fact that their office is about to become the office of Christmas trash. Red, blue, pink, silver or orange – doesn’t matter as long as it’s trashy and colourful.
Trashy Christmas for our support team
This year, our colleague Tim Farklas had the honour of being at the receiving end of our trashy Christmas decorations – blinking Christmas lights, scented candles…we made sure that his office had everything a technician longs for. After returning from his meeting, Tim was more than surprised of the state his office was in. However, he didn’t lose his humour: “Well, I’m surprised you didn’t get me earlier. “, Tim just said after he entered his glittering and sparkling office with bright eyes and a smile on his face.
But we assume that his reaction was only due to one aspect. Although he will never admit it, Tim seemed to have liked the look of his “new” office. Until today, he didn’t even attempt to returning his office to its original state.
