In collaboration with sister company VuWall, we proudly announce the launch of VisionVS, a dual-encoding appliance that combines video wall visualization and KVM control into a single, powerful, compact solution. Engineered to simplify and optimize control room integration, VisionVS enhances operational performance while reducing system complexity in control room environments.
“VisionVS marks a significant advancement in control room technology,” said Andreas Gerlach, EVP of Innovation at VuWall and G&D. “By merging the strengths of VuWall’s video wall visualization technology and G&D’s world-class KVM capabilities, we’re delivering a solution that simplifies integration, accelerates deployments, and ensures reliable 24/7 operations. It’s a game-changer for both integrators and end-users.”
VisionVS combines G&D’s Vision product line of dedicated, high-performance KVM and KVM-over-IP solutions with VuWall’s VuStream IP encoding technology. The appliance captures KVM sources and transmits them as a G&D bluedecTM stream to G&D KVM matrix systems, while simultaneously outputting a proprietary VuWall stream to VuWall’s PAK processors for video wall visualization, KVM operator stations, or remote access. This single-appliance solution bridges the gap between the two ecosystems, enabling pixel-perfect, near-zero latency video quality with the ability to stream content to remote locations all while reducing the amount of hardware required, minimizing cabling and component count, and simplifying control room deployments.

Supporting both fiber and copper connections, VisionVS features a DisplayPort DP1.1 input (up to 2560×1600@60Hz or 4096×2160@30Hz) and a loop-through HDMI 1.4 output (up to 2560×1600@60Hz or 4096×2160@30Hz). It delivers both a pixel-perfect, near-zero latency video stream and a second low-bandwidth stream. Both streams support encryption and up to 4:4:4 color fidelity.
By simplifying system design, reducing installation components, and enabling efficient, real-time signal distribution, VisionVS allows integrators to shorten project timelines and reduce ongoing support requirements. End users benefit from a more responsive, intuitive workspace with immediate access to critical information – essential in demanding environments such as security operations centers, transportation monitoring, process control, emergency response facilities, and other high-demand environments.
