Video expertise at G&D: We can tell you a lot…

…And we gladly will.

For many years we have been offering our customers various options to transmit video signals – uncompressed or compressed, via dedicated connections or via KVM-over-IP™. Since we develop the solutions in-house, we can integrate specific requirements of various industries directly into our devices. Using our extender systems as an example, we present you some of the options available.

Uncompressed transmission – without any delay or frame drops

The DP1.2-VisionXG transmits high-resolution video signals up to 4K @ 60 Hz, 2560 × 1440 @ 144 Hz or 1920 × 1080 @ 240 Hz, completely uncompressed and over a distance of up to 10,000 meters.
Everything the graphics card puts out also arrives at the console – without any delay or frame drops. The extender system even easily handles super-wide resolutions, such as 5120 × 1440 @ 60 Hz. By the way, our multi-channel variants already support 8K resolutions at 30 Hz when using two video channels, and even 8K resolutions at 60 Hz when using four video channels.

Compressed transmission – best quality thanks to self-developed technology

By compressing video signals, a lower bandwidth is required for transmission. For this purpose we use a self-developed and absolutely secure compression technology. Our experienced team of developers is specialized in integrating the video component into the systems so that you benefit from a great user experience. Even when transmitting a 4K@60Hz signal over 1 Gbit, you won’t notice you’re using a KVM system. The extension systems are available as CAT and fiber variants, thus giving you the right solution for every requirement. A great advantage of compressed transmission is the matrix compatibility. This allows you to benefit from all the useful functions provided by G&D matrix systems.

KVM-over-IP™ – the solution for working in network structures

In addition to classic, dedicated KVM systems, our portfolio also includes KVM-over-IP solutions. The DP1.2-Vision-IP, for example, transmits high-resolution video signals up to 4K @ 60 Hz, 2560 × 1440 @ 144 Hz or
1920 × 1080 @ 240 Hz. Signals are transmitted over IP-based networks on layer 3 – even across network boundaries.

KVM for gaming and esports applications

With our DP1.2 systems, we also provide KVM equipment tailored to the requirements of gamers. Using these systems, you can run full HD resolutions with frame rates of up to 240 Hz.

And now it’s time for some action

Since we don’t want to be all talk and no action, we’ve also made a video to show and compare the different DP1.2 extender variants.
