Four decades of G&D – around 150 employees and their families gathered at this year’s summer party to celebrate this special milestone together.
Words of Gratitude
CEO Thorsten Lipp opened the event with a warm welcome, a brief look back at 40 years of G&D, and a heartfelt thank you to everyone who made it all possible. Mayor Steffen Mues then congratulated the company and highlighted G&D’s importance to the region.
The company’s founders Udo Guntermann, Reiner Ruelmann and Martin Drunck also joined the celebration, showing their ongoing connection to the company they founded.
40 Years of Innovation on Display
A company anniversary wouldn’t be complete without a look at its history – and we brought ours to life in the reception area. Old and new KVM devices clearly illustrated how much growth and innovation has taken place over the past 40 years. For many guests, our “G&D Museum” was a true highlight.
Entertainment was also part of the program: puzzle and skill games gave colleagues the chance to show off their team spirit while having lots of fun. For younger guests, a bouncy castle, face painting, and various game stations brought plenty of excitement and colorful faces. The evening ended with joyful dancing to great music.
Stronger Together for 40 Years
For us, the summer party was more than just an anniversary. It showed how much we’ve grown over the past 40 years – not just in terms of technology, but especially as a team. Unity has been one of our core values from the very beginning. That’s why it’s still important to us today to spend time together not only during work hours but also beyond – and to celebrate special moments as a team.
